a poem i never wrote down so i am trying to remember it.

i lay on my back and found a star -
just a tiny, tiny blur compared to the other glitter.
there it goes -
it glittered itself just a little -
just then.
then trapezed across a giant, threadbare sail
to wrap its midnight prey.
tiny blur of a star,
you have a sister in the shiny spider
twinkling above my head.
